The hardest question to answer is "What schools are the right "fit" for my child?" After putting three children into college it using the "hope and a prayer" method, it became very obvious that the child need to more fully investigate their inner strengths and weaknesses to determine what vacations and academic specialties may best meet their needs. Since many children have at least partially tuned out their parents, outside advisors can be used to help aim the child at their areas of interest and strength.
During a student's Junior year of High school, we offer a Student Positioning Analysis that is delivered through an Interactive online aptitude/attitude session designed to confirm or focus a student's career goals. This is followed by a conference call consultation with a college specialist designed to help the student pick the right academic concentrations and target colleges. From these meetings we help the student develop a personal profile that lists their strengths and interests for use in the college essay and application process.
Students soon realize that strong SAT scores help them get what they want. We offer Peterson's online SAT or PSAT study course. A one year license to the online study course with parent supervision notification costs $100. This is a lot cheaper and easier on the child than expensive academic training courses.
This program cost $600 plus $100 for Peterson's study course.
